Scanning and tracking cookies

    I just installed the latest build of Ewido. I specifically told it not to scan for tracking cookies. Then I scanned my system. And what did it find? Nothing except 821 "tracking cookies" (the vast majority of which were in Undelete's Recovery Bin, rather than being in my Firefox profile directory). Couldn't uninstall it fast enough after that.

    That's a known bug in the current version that will be fixed with the next engine update, sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thank you--I just downloaded the latest version, and the problem seems to be gone.

    Now, I have another problem, but that's for another thread. :)
