do u need read\write access or just read access to scan files using tds3?

i'm trying to scan a hard drive on a network using the scan all logical drives option in tds scan control.

You'll likely need write access to delete nasties encountered. :ninja:

i just want to scan i can manualy delete them later.

you see i'm scaning my computer and 2 friends computer in the same lan.
they would have to know what is on their computer before i (or they) delete it so it'll have to be deleted manualy.
if it was just to scan for the nasties all i need is read access right?

    Hi Bowerbird
Read access should work fine but you will have to note any malware files and locations then manually delete them :)
