    Hello all.

If I have NOD32 Antivirus installed on a file server, should I keep "scan network disks" unchecked for the client computers that also have NOD32 Antivirus installed?

I had to do this using Trend Micro so I wanted to know if this is also a best practice for NOD32.

    Thanks!

As a general rule, if you are in an environment that heavily relies SMB you should be disabling network scanning on the client end. It adds a large amount of overhead and really doesn't do much to improve overall security.
