    Hi everybody ..(again...! :D )

I attach this screenshot I got after I performed a scan of my hard drives

Since I could verify the high sharing rate of the persons following this forum....I'd abuse a little bit more with a question.. :D

What do these access denied messages mean..?

    Thanks everybody

    Tony

It means those files are locked by the OS, Additionally all those files in the NtUninstall folders are the old files that were replaced by various updates. If you haven't had any problems within a month or so of an update it is safe to delete them. They can take up quite of bit a space.

    Thanks Flyrfan111 !

Since I'm not a deep windows specialist.....Allow me to put an additional question to see if I have understood your instructions correctly

Step1) I go to the relevant file indicated by the scan as "locked"
Step2) I cancel each denied access file

I went through various windows uninstall files present on my root drive....I've got more than 25 mega sleeping there....impressive !

This is maybe away from topic and concerns specifically Windows utilisation but it might help newbies ..as myself.

If moderators could allow some replies I would appreciate

    Many thanks

    Cheers

    Tony
