SC Error Code 9, GLE error code 997

    Hi all,

    We are piloting the remote console and while trying to push the client out to a machine I got the error mentioned in the subjet line. We suspect it might be network communications (ports blocked). Does anyone know what this error means?

    the GLE code is a MS error code

    ERROR_IO_PENDING
    997
    0x3E5
    Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.


    doing a google search found that on the client PC you may need to run
    msiexec /regserver from the cmd prompt
