SB v3.2 MOZILLA/FIREFOX NOT DETECTED/INSTALLED when using Netscape Navigator

Have been using Netscape for many years. Netscape uses Mozilla as part of it's program. Used previous versions of SB without any problems.

Upgraded to Ver 3.2 and got error message saying "Mozilla/Firefox not detected."

After many hours of searching through threads on this board a simple solution was found:

1) Go to Windows\Applications Data\Mozilla.

2) Look for Registry.Dat file.

3) DELETE Registry.Dat file. Forum threads indicate that this file is corrupted.

4) OPEN Netscape Navigator. Netscape Network Registration will connect to server.

5) After Netscape Network Registration screen appears slect CANCEL, select YES. Netscape will then open to Netscape.com homepage.

6) CLOSE Netscape Navigator. A new Registry.DAT file is now loaded in your Windows\Applications Data\Mozilla directory.

7) OPEN SB. You will see that MOZILLA/FIREFOX is now being detected.

Hope this helps someone from pulling their hair out searching for a solution!

Thanks for the info and as a Guest you may not have search abilities....but in any case....by doing a search for Netscape....among the many threads you'd find....there are @ a few where the programmer(Javacool) addressed this same issue. One can be found in the link below.
