    Hi.
    I am a novice.
However, I can understand the logical performance of Spywareblaster.
    Well, well...
    I have two questions.

First: What exactly is the relationship between my navigator (Myie2) and SB?
Of course: I do not used Internet Explorer.

Second: Am I protected against garbage?
I repeat: my browser is MYie2.

    Thanks in advance.

    Greetings from México.

    Good - and welcome.

Myie2 is in effect an Internet Explorer Shell. In practice, there's no difference between the both of them in this context.

You are protected against the databased issues as available in SB, provided you keep the software updated. Have a look at SpywareGuard as well - it's a nice combo.

Other "garbage" should be handled by a good resident running antivirus plus antitrojan, and a well-cnfigured firewall.

    regards,

    paul

    Dear Paul:
Thank you very much for answering to me.
The origin of my questions was a sentence I read in some place:
"Is doesn't make sense to use SB WITHOUT Internet Explorer."
    Is it true?

    Regards.

Not really. Some elements of SpywareBlaster may never be effective if you never use IE, but some of them will.
And as Paul stated correctly: you ARE using IE. Under a shell, but nevertheless.

    Regards,

    Pieter
