My MBP has a SSD for the main disk (Normal OSX FS) and then I have added a 1TB HDD into the Optical bay and formatted it as NTFS. Using Paragon NTFS 14 I can read and write to this fine. However when saving files from Chrome directly to a folder on the NTFS drive the files do not show up. I can open the file if I double click on it in the Chrome status bar. If I search for it in the search box in Finder it also is found OK. It just refuses to be listed when I looked at the folder directly on the NTFS drive. Any ideas what's going on?
After some investigation the files are being saved with the hidden flag set. chflags nohidden *.* makes them visible in Finder now. But why are they being saved as hidden in the first place?
