Can someone provide details on the differences between these to apps, I've tried SandboxIE but am becoming curious about Geswall after reading some posts. Also are you using Geswall free or pro?

    Thanks

GeSWall is a policy based sandbox, very little virtualization is done. It tags as untrusted all new objects coming from the isolated program (ex. browser), allowing these to be written to the HD normally. Then, even if you close the browser, and open a file you downloaded (marked untrusted), it will be isolated, and the OS protected.

SandboxIE uses virtualization, everything is redirected to a virtual container (unless what you define otherwise), ready to be dumped - it's not that simple, but.. it's the main difference.

I suggest reading from the SandboxIE and GeSWall's websites, they explain how each work very well, and you can draw some conclusions.
Don't forget to check out DefenseWall as well, unless freeware is your only option.

In the end though, there's nothing like trying them out yourself.
