    Hi Guys :)

Thanks for all your Replies ;)

Even though I have the Paid Sandboxie...
Just feel more comfortable with the extra Shortcuts at this moment in time .. Rather than actually using Forced Sanboxing.

Even though it can be a pain at times... Do Love My No Script
Just feel it gives an extra layer of security.
On the odd occasion that it does get in the way of things ( Like it did once when I was in the middle of trying to purchase something Online ) ....
Just switch to using Sandboxed Chrome or IE instead.

That would certainly be the easiest solution!
    But...
I'm just a little concerned about where it says ( See: Highlighted )

    From Here: http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?FirefoxTips

Took me quite a while to get used to No Script when I first got it.
Think I'm now just going to have to get used to using No Script in Sandboxie.
It's only the same kind of minor niggle as...
When I save a Bookmark in a Sandboxed Chrome .. Bookmark has no icon when I next open Chrome :(

    Never Mind!
    Coz... Still Loving Sandboxie :D

    Thanks!

Zeena, I'm not sure what true harm could come from allowing direct access. I've never had an issue throughout my time with Sandboxie or Firefox. I'll look into it more I guess. NoScript should remove whatever threat there might be (I'm assuming the threat is drive-by downloads?). I don't have any issue with bookmark icons (though this is in FF).

Even though Mick is probably right, I also like to use NoScript like
you do. Whenever you need to go online to make a purchase, just
click on "allow scripts globally" during the time that you are making
the purchase and afterward click on "forbid scripts globally".
Doing so, it will be like using FF, sandboxed but without NoScript,
You really don't need to use other browsers for your purchases.

This is true. However, I personally believe that for me, it is easier to use one browser ONLY for online purchases and KNOW it is clean, than to use the browser that I do everything else in and ASSUME that nothing is compromised.

Deleting the contents of the sandbox is perhaps the single largest safety factor if you were to use one browser for all purposes. However, while I adore Sandboxie, I also adore what little money I have, and don't intend that a purchase to newegg.com for a new harddrive is in any way going to one day find my account drained of what little is there. So, I choose to err on the side of caution and be a bit "paranoid" in my online transactions, and use a browser devoted to that one purpose in life.

Excellent point, Sully. I just wanted Zeena to know that she can
still use SBIE and FF on sites that NoScript totally breaks, like the
    site she mentioned.

That only allow Firefox direct access to your profile, not just any process (or malware). I don't see why not for the greatly improved convenience and marginal decrease in security.

If Sandboxie doesn't have these exclusions (and restrictions), I wouldn't have kept it. Never liked any virtualization programs other than it.

I'm the same, it's the only one I've ever kept. Returnil leaked, DW drove me insane, and so on.

Nope! - Don't have any issue with Bookmark Icons in Firefox either.
It's just Chrome that doesn't seem to be able to retain a Bookmark Icon if a bookmark is created in a Sandboxed Chrome o_O

    Great Tip!
I'll definitely remember that one :thumb:

    Sully
To Be Honest... Tend to use IE
    1) Because for the first few years of having a computer I only had IE - & - It's like a hard habit to break.
    2) Because the only time I ever tried with another browser ( Firefox ) No Script caused me problems. ( So it was straight back to IE for online purchases. )
    3) Because that's the only thing that I do use IE for these days ;)
    Also!
Even before I got Sandboxie I'd got this funny little habit, without really understanding why I was doing it...
    1) Enter IE
    2) Private Browsing
    3) Make Purchase
    4) End Private Browsing
    5) Exit IE8 Completely
Still got the same funny habit!
    Only Now....
    1) Enter IE Sandboxied :D

I'm going to think about it :doubt:
Give it a week or so...
Just to see how crazy or not the problem might send me :argh:

    Thanks!
