    I'd agree.

Tzuk wants the number to reflect the x64 support ;) :D

Sandboxie is a great deal at any price. I rely on it completely and I have it on each of my 4 machines.

It's been a long time since I've used Sandboxie. I have Returnil on my laptop and Deep Freeze on my desktop box. Is there a compelling reason to have SB along with Returnil? I can't think of one, but it wouldn't be the first time I've missed something staring me in the face.

Well I'm no expert, but I seem to remember the TDSS rootkit bypassed returnil, although, not if the anti virus part of returnil was on.(it was blocked ) Also, malware present on the pc could transmit sensitve data home, until reboot. With a properly configured Sandboxie, this would not be possible ( if only certain programs are are allowed to run and have internet access ) I suppose both programs have there benefits, but for me Sandboxie suits my needs better :)

This offer is good today, Monday October 4th, only. Is it worth it? Any other thoughts regarding my question above? I'm really not concerned with targeted rootkits that are theoretically possible but with an almost zero percent chance of my ever being a target.

I look at it like this, use it if you need something light weight.

All I have is a backup image in case I need to reinstall and I just run Avira and Sandboxie... ;)
