I'm afraid it didn't fix my paste issues. Back to 3.76 again.

Just installed 4.03 in Windows 8 Pro – and the issue I had with Firefox and I.E not shutting down in SBIE Control when 'forced' sandboxed has vanished!
So this beta has fixed something!

The same here. But tzuk is aware of the situation:

I'm afraid Tzuk's dedication is a blessing and a constant reminder that SB needs continuous monitoring as Windows tends to change rapidly even with updates. The day Tzuk retires, it will be the end of SB.

Hopefully this moment will still be far, far away. ;)

In the meantime tzuk already released the beta version 4.03.02:

Concerning my issue (formatting lost after copy and paste) I can report that it is fixed. Sandboxie works flawlessly again for me. :thumb:

For all we know, when that day comes, he may have a backup plan in place.

Possibly selling the product name to a reputable company that knows what they're doing.

I say either A, he has a backup plan or B, he'll let it retire when he does.

Tzuk is getting there bit by bit, I have every confidence in him, he is the kind of developer that others only aspire to be. He has earned a well deserved respect, fondness and co-operation from his usership with his integrity, resilience, hard work and willingness to listen and to act accordingly. The development of Sandboxie has been a masterclass in how to develop software in partnership with the people who use it, an involved evolution.
Sandboxie is a "movement" not a software.
Whatever happens Tzuk has made his mark in history with Sandboxie.

Well said Patrick, I totally agree with what you are saying. Polishing V4 is taking a while, we all can see that, but in my opinion, the changes done on how Sandboxie works its going to make Sandboxie stronger than it is now. That makes it all worthwhile. In my case, its been a pleasure trying and using V4 from day one. I seen Tzuk fix issue after issue and I have no doubt that in a little while, this version will be as smooth as V3 ever was.

Without question, when it comes to user-interactive software developers Tzuk 'sets the bar'. :thumb:

Tzuk is challenged or should i say tasked with retrofitting Sandboxie to meld properly with all the radical changes that Microsoft is forced on developers of all levels.

It's like Tzuk is a single global megaoperation. LoL

Sandboxie 4.03 beta running very well on Windows 8 x64 here. This app is truly a timeless work of art.

When using Internet Access Restrictions + Start/Run Access Restrictions on Windows 8 64 bit, what programs have you needed to add to the allow list?

    Thanks in Advance.

Since tzuk won't accept e-mails concerning forums, does anyone know why I can't post a new topic?

It always says that I need to be an Administrator to perform that task.

Hi Ty, you should be able to post new topics in Problem reports, Quick questions and Anything else. You can not post new topics in Beta or Feature request. For the beta sub forum, Tzuk moves topics there from problem reports as he is working on them. And Feature requests are not being taken now but you can post there in the existing threads.
