Shouldn't these betas on the same version be in the same thread?

Stupid question, but JB has a habit of asking them.

I have SBxie 3.56 - 32 bit and the update says 3.58 is available, not 3.59.
Why the difference ?

I will wait for your reply. I always shudder when SBxie announce updates in case the new version causes problems with other programs, plug-ins and other Add-ons etc.

Reason this post is to you is because I know you`re a genius.

This is a beta version, meaning it's not officially released virtually bug-free yet. 3.58 is the latest stable version. I don't have any problems with it, in fact, problems were fixed.

Can I update SBxie whilst still using it with FF or is it best to get the update onto my desktop using normal FF, then update SBxie via the Wizard ? I usually over-write the previous version.

Sandboxie shouldn't be used shouldn't be running during over-write. It can be running in the background with nothing in it.

 

Given that the first 3.59 beta resolved an acknowledged BSOD issue in 3.58 final, 3.59 is already more stable than 3.58.

 

Beta in mathematics is second class, Alpha is first.
What precisely does BETA mean ?

i love sandboxie and I have use beta versions, in fact I download all of them sometime is a must for any changes when Microsoft releases security patches (Patch Tuesday) ~Off topic comments removed~
