@ Prevx Yup it's me again, sorry to wake you up I tried putting FF into WSA's sandbox After clicking Start & then Close, i checked the SB & it's blank ? Tried several times, same result. What gives ?
Many applications won't work with default settings - you may need to change the security settings to allow them in. The sandbox is primarily built for testing malware or suspicious applications and isn't meant to function like Sandboxie or similar apps.
@ Prevx Mine aren't default. What settings do you recommend ? That "sounds" like i don't need to seperately sandbox FF ? Not according to what you said. Appreciate you clearing this up for me, & any others viewing
It depends - like with Sandboxie, certain exceptions will be required to have applications work properly, but the purpose of it isn't to run browsers - it is meant for testing applications to see some of what WSA's own automatic sandboxes will see when they run. You technically could sandbox Firefox/any other executable, but it would take some testing and work to find the settings which allow it to work. Correct - WSA already auto-sandboxes and analyzes anything coming from browsers prior to letting them actually execute.
