    Hello all,

I have been trying to install TTT but am having problems due to something leftover from it after the uninstall.

So, can anyone recommend any other sandbox type applications that will run on Windows XP home?

I have tried a few searches for "sandbox" but do not come up with much, so I was hoping that all the great people here at Wilders could help me out.

    Regards,
    Kent

    Kent,

You can try SurfinGuard (finjan.com) - or try running a registry cleaner to remove the final vestiges of TTT and reinstall.

    Checkout,

See the following thread for the problems I have been having trying to install TTT  http://www.security-pro.co.uk/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=antitrojans;action=display;num=1015496810 .

In the meantime I will give SurfinGuard a try. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Kent

Kent, is \CONFIDENTIAL still there?  Can you install in Safe Mode?

    Hi Checkout,

I have not tried installing in safe mode yet....Will do it in the week sometime.

I do not know what you mean by "\CONFIDENTIAL ".  Would you elaborate a little about this?

    Regards,
    Kent

C:\Confidential                             Is a restricted directory that TTT uses! Do you have that on your drive??

    Jazzie,

Sorry, but I do not have this directory on my drive either.  It, IMO, has to be something leftover in my registry.

    Regards,
    Kent

You need a program which monitors and displays accesses to the registry.  Hmmm...something like TTT?  :)

    Hello spy1,

Thanks for recommending the alfa version of RegRun !!!  I am test driving it now and love it !!!

Also, from a link the forum admin posted in another thread, http://www.security-pro.co.uk/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=privacygeneral;action=display;num=1021925421 , I have decided not to use Fijan's SurfinGuardPro.

    Regards,
    Kent
