I just updated a W10 x64 Pro Build 10240 system with Samsung Magician 4.9 and all seems well. Including RAPID Mode.

I was just lucky enough to download the v4.9.5 update from the Samsung server this time. The update installed okay and all seems well. I admit that I too have used majorgeeks but I always prefer the author's/developer's site. Thank you again.
Anyone else having problems with the latest Magician version? My touchpad on my Asus W10 laptop goes disfunctional a while after installation.
Hello pb1: How have you established that your system is having this touchpad issue with Samsung Magician v4.9.5? Have you tried falling back to Samsung Magician v4.9? Have you isolated the touchpad issue to one of the three running Magician processes? Do you believe you have the touchpad system driver, if present, updated to current? Thank you pb1.

I literally began using this less than a week ago, when I first got my 850 Pro. So far so good with Windows 10, Rapid Mode, Over-Provisioning, etc.
Indeed, thank you! Also, I did install the latest, however, two questions? Firstly, I can't find a way to view the current version, e.g. Help>v number, like with most software. Secondly, why does it install in my x86 program folder as opposed to the x64 folder? Are other folks seeing this too? Thank you! As a post script, I do realize a lot of software installs in the 86 folder. I should have asked, is it only offered in one version?
You may, 1) Open the Magician GUI and select Magician Info near the lower-right-hand corner or, 2) Verify the version number of "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Samsung\Samsung Magician\Samsung Magician.exe" An updated version today is 4.9.7.240. Many vendor's programmers are still writing code this way and during setup/startup the proper 32 or 64bit system drivers, for the installed OS, are loaded. Cheers.
