I been getting killed with ads, spyware, whatever u want to call it.

I downloaded ad-aware to get rid of the spyware but it keeps coming back.

so i downloaded Spyguard and it seems to work but i keep getting this error message. runtime error "429" active X component can't create object

And i need to reload Spyware Guard.

How do i fix this error?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Justin99,

    Welcome to Wilder's!!!!!

Go here HERE and follow the instructions. Since you have already ran SpyBot and/or AdAware, skip step 1 and go to step 2.

    Regards,
    Kent

    Download and run: http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/~merijn/files/CWShredder.exe
Use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\WINDOWS\DOWNLOADED PROGRAM FILES\BRIDGE.DLL
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\A.EXE

Then please zip up and mail to the address in my profile:
    C:\WINDOWS\szchost.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\vsx.exe

I will keep you posted on their nature, but I suspect they will turn out to be spyware or trojans.

Then download and install the Microsoft Windows Script Run-time from the appropriate link below. SpywareGuard should then function properly.

    For Windows 9x, ME:
