Whenever we crank up the PC at home, we get this window:

    RUNDLL

    Error loading C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\cdaengine0400dll

The specific module could not be found.

dear Wmastriano, welcome to the forum. click your start menu and bring up RUN by clicking it. now type MSCONFIG and hit ENTER. goto START-UP and disable all Wild Tangent or WT entries. if you're unsure of what you're doing just post your start-up informations and we'll help. you can also try this utility.

    Hi AMRX, Hi Ronjor.

I read the background on wild tangent and also deleted the wt and Wild Tangent items from the system configuration utility. Thanks. It did not reappear at restart.

    Another Question:

While I was in the system configuration utilty, I found this start up item & command and wonder if I should disable this as well:

    START UP ITEM
    ootr

    COMMAND
    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\ootr.exe

You may want to post a log in the hijack forum to get a good idea of what is on your computer.

    Read the faq first.
