Hello folks I'm a new member and new to imageing and have TI9.

I have prepared a True Image Bootable CD. I have also done a complete backup of my C partition (10.3 Gb), split into files and managed to copy them onto DVDs.

I have been using Roxio Drag and Drop to do the DVDs. When it has finished copying the files to the DVD you click "Eject" and then it gives you the choice to prepare the disk for "Only this computer" or "For any computer" or words to that effect. Which should I use?

To my feeble mind if I have a complete catastrophe and have to use the Bootable CD, at that point Roxio will not have been loaded and so will it be able to read the files on the DVDs if they have been prepared "Only on this computer"?

    Grateful for any guidance

    Rob

For any computer is the right choice as you decided. You want to be able to read the disks on any system whether Roxio has been installed or not.

Thank you John. I had a feeling that should be the way.

Just going to redo some disks!
