    Excuse the elementary question.
I changed my ATT router's default password for WiFi, and am wondering whether I was looking at my router's software, or was I at some ATT website?
I guess the answer is true for any type router?
    Thanks.

    In a sense, both:

AT&T's router can always be bridged to a different one that you own, which they have no access to or control over (at least supposedly or theoretically).

Well, ABee, you ruined my night!
Seriously though, thanks for the response.
The primary answer is that I'm looking at my router software.
But oh my, how did I miss that thread?

That backdoor issue is different than what you are asking about. You did NOT change anything at ATT.

    Thanks Bill_Bright, that's what I gathered.
