Rootkit scanner would be nice

    Is Ewido going to have a rootkit scanner incorporated into it any time soon...

    Hi Dobbelina, why do you think Ewido won't detect rootkits?

    the pro-active solution is being worked on, version 4 is just around the corner.

    What I would find interesting is if it could identify Alternate Data Streams... and possibly delete them. I tried KAV and it added a lot of ADSs to my files. Now that I uninstalled KAV I still don't know if also all ADS are removed too.

    Hi Itsme, here you can find a lot of free tools for your computer. One of them is ADS Spy (from Merijn, HJT creator)

    you can check and eventualy also delete them.
