Mine also indicate 7.2.1 and if I am not mistaken this build was release in May (less than 2 months ago)!

If I am not mistaking version 7.2.1 was release to resolved some issues reported by Wilders members. But, from what I have seen, some issues still unresolved with this version...

    Hi Peter,

Ok, I understand in such circumstances.

When I installed Rollback, i've made my "plans" in advance, and I've a baseline (1st snapshot) without AV/FW, it allows me to build these groups of snapshots, each one with different AV/FWs. That's why when a problem happened with one of these programs (I had one strange problem with Antivir update once), I had snapshots ready to be restored.

However I don't know enough about FD-ISR to know if this scenario is feasible easily/quickly? (I mean since Rollback's snapshots are taken very quickly, restored very quickly, thus you can take snapshots for any tiny change on the system).

Anyway programs like Rollback and FD-ISR tend to make people lazy :D : Since I'm running it, I don't even care to uninstall programs most of the time, I just restore snapshots  Lol.

    Hi aigle,

The site is showing version 7.2.12, released 5.23.2006.

I downloaded mine in march, between the 15/20 if I remember.

    Please consider the following scenario:
    Code:
                  Root Snapshot
            / \
           / \
       SonA SonB
(create new file A,B and C) (create new file G)
        |
       SonA1
    (create new file D,E)
        |
      SonA11
(create new file F, remove file C, overwrite file A)
        |
     Current snapshot

    In this case:
If SonA is removed, SonA1 would inherit the data of file A,B and C => Nothing released!
If SonA1 is removed, SonA11 would inherit the file D,E. => Nothing released!
If SonA and SonA1 are both removed, SonA11 would inherit the file B,D and E, file A and C would be released.
If SonB is removed, file G would be released.

    Thanks.

I don,t know. It may be wrong as I think all snapshots are basically based upon first snapshot. But I am not sure.

Only thing I can see that might be an issue is when you said overwrite file A you would at that point have two different versions of file A in the different snapshots.
