Right click mouse problem

    When I use the right click button on my mouse the hourglass appears and the computer hangs up. It is making me crazy. If anyone can help with this problem I would really appreciate it. My operating system is windows XP home

    How long has this been happening? If it just started, have you installed or uninstalled any software recently?

    I am always updating programs and I would not be able to pinpoint when this problem started. Is there anything that I can do?

    Thank you for your help. Idid as you suggested I downloaded ShellEXView from nirsoft.com and discovered the program Eraser was the problem. I disabled it from the list and my right click was restored to normal. Yay!
