Thanks, Tom. That was a very thought-provoking piece. You would have to count me in as one who had always thought of RMS as a bit of a nut - and still do (his comments after the passing of Steve Jobs was beyond the pale). However, these eccentric types can sometimes be the smartest among us, and I think RMS has probably been right about a lot of things that I once wrote off as paranoid or whatever. That was an excellent article and very true - no doubt about it. Thanks again for posting.
