    Hi human01d,

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchURL = http://www.the-exit.com/search
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www/the-exit.com/search

    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll

    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {62999427-33FC-4baf-9C9C-BCE6BD127F08} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll",Load

    Then reboot and delete:
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll

If that does not solve the problem could you please give us the full path and filename of what AVG finds?

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Thanks Pieter,
I checked and fixed all the items you told me to in HijackThis. After I rebooted, I was unable to find a bridge.dll file, I have show all hidden files and folders on, but still could not locate it.

AVG detected two infected files, both 'Trojan Horse Revop.C'
    C:\Documents and Settings\0nly1\Local Settings\Temp\bdl14025.exe
    and
    C:\Documents and Settings\0nly1\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IES\ADDANMSO\bdl14025[1].exe

    Hi humano1d,

Reboot into safe mode and empty this folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\0nly1\Local Settings\Temp <= NOTE do NOT delete the folder itself just everything in it.
Local Settings is hidden by default, but you obviously know how to make those show.

Then in IE click Tools > Internet-options > General tab > delete Files and put a checkmark to include offline content.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Hello human01d and Pieter

human01d, would you do this and paste back the results please ?

Copy and paste this exact line in your browser's address bar and press enter:

    javascript:navigator.userAgent

    Regards,

    Gal

Thanks Pieter, what you told me to do seems to have worked, if it comes back, I'll let you know.

Is this what you wanted Galadriel?
    Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)

Yes. And that is what it should be. All clear.

    Good job cleaning up. :)
