    Something strange today.
When I rebooted my computer today,Returnil protection was on.
    I selected "restart" from Start>turn off computer>restart,
and the normal "logging off" screen passed by,and the
"Windows is shutting down" screen came up.
It stuck there, and after five mins,I turned the machine off via the
    power button and restarted.
The restart was normal,if a little slow, but when the Returnil icon came into the system tray,it was green,or off.
I am 100% sure I did not turn protection off prior to reboot.
    Any idea what caused this?
    I am using Windows XP pro,Sp3 and Returnil V 2.0.1 .9002.
plus the things in my signature.
Seems to be working ok now,and reboots fine, retaining protection status.
I had not tried to save a session or anything like that.
    thanks

    Hi norm,
Did you have Session Lock on or did you have it configured as always on?

    Hello Coldmoon.
Session lock was off. Now that I do not do a lot of up-dateing I do not use
protection scheduler ,so I mostly just leave Returnil on.
I had watched a movie online, that had ran up my RAM use,and was just wanting a clean slate, which is what prompted the reboot.

Are you certain the scheduler is turned off?

Keep a close eye on it and do your best to write down or record exactly what happens and when. It is difficult to reproduce this in the lab without more detail or some indication as to potential conflicts during bootup.

    Thanks

    Ok Coldmoon I will watch.
So far I have reboot several times, both into and out of Returnil Protection,
and also rebooted with returnil on,and had no problem at all.

    thank you very much
