Restrictions on Paragon B&R Suite 2010 (free) disk image restore

Hey Everyone,

I'm currently evaluating some of the backup & restore packages for my HTPC, which has windows7 professional installed on a 640GB HDD.

I am currently testing the Paragon B&R suite and I am having a few problems.

why I am asking about the restrictions on the free version is that I am having trouble restoring the image to a new HDD on the same machine, this HDD is smaller than the original.

The restore process works but only restores one partition and not the the main windows partition.

can someone tell me if I am missing a step?, or if there is a restriction on the free version?

any advice would be appreciated.
