Wanted to let everyone know that Paragon Drive Copy works, but after restoring an image backup of the 1st disk track or the entire disk, the result will not boot. Nor with EasyBCD fix things by adding the Vista/7 boot loader the way it will with win8.

I was testing in VBox VMs. Without VBox Guest Additions for win8.1 there's not an easy way to share files with the VM -- can't network to drives in the Host win7 -- so attached the .vdi virtual disk to a win7 32 VM for backup/restore testing. Everything looked good but the result would not boot. I Copied the drive to a new .VHD format virtual disk, & that would boot fine. Mounting that .VHD in win7 64, backing up & then restoring the win8.1 virtual hard drive, after detaching the .vhd, it would not boot in Vbox.
