Restore problem with Vista Ultimate

    We appear to be having problems restoring an image, using True Image 10 on an Windows Vista Ultimate PC.

    Backups seem to have worked just fine and we have also run the Validate Backup utility which reported ok.

    Here's what occurs...

    Run through the restore wizard up to the point where it says a reboot is required. Click on reboot and the system restarts. We then see the 'Acronis Loader' screen and very briefly the 'Analysing Partition' window appears then the system continues with a normal restart and we're back to Windows desktop.

    We have used your software for many years and perform backup/restore operations all the time on an XP system with no issues at all, so I'm quite confident we are not doing anything wrong here.

    Checking the logs show only up to the point of the reboot confirmation but nothing referring to the restart process... not sure if it should though.

    Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

    Have you tried booting from the TI Recovery CD and restoring the image that way?
