Restore image to IDE ata-133 to IDE ata-100? hang?

Hi,

I recently rebuilt my system, got a core build on, then took a full image using the most recent acronis. The disk is 200gb ata-133. I created the acronis boot disk, and burned the image to DVD. I figured I should test a restore to make sure it actually works. So I disconnected my new drive and hooked up an older 80gig IDE ata100 disk. I booted to acronis, then chose my image file (3.8gigs). It ran through and said the image was successfully restored. I'm thinking, cool! So I reboot and the windows logo appears, I'm thinking nice! But then it gets to the blue colored screed with the win-logo (the screen right before your login avatar appears) and it hangs. I gave it 10mins and no good, also tried safe mode and same thing. Now I am wondering is this a known issue going from an ata-133 disk to an ata100? or is my image no good? THANKS!!
