Restore From external USB Drive

    I am using Partition Manger 9 special edition. I have created a disk image on a external USB drive. when I boot from the recovery CD it does not list the USB drive, How do I restore from the USB drive?

    Hello sgeoffroy,

    When you boot to the recovery disk, Normal Mode has to be used for additional hardware support. For whatever reason if the USB hard drive is not recognized, I would check with another computer to see if the HD is readable.

    Although PM 9 SE is outdated but shouldn't be a factor in why it doesn't recognize your HD, download the Drive Backup 9 trial and create its recovery disk. At this point, we're trying to rule out if it's a bad hard drive or the recovery disk is defective or the default drivers doesn't support your usb hd.
