Restoration to new hard drive

    I am new to this and plead ignorance. I have done full backup image and want to install new hard drive replacement. Do I use the boot disc to start and then use restoration? It is not clear to me.

    Where do you have the full backup image? If it is on an external drive, then yes, you simply remove the old drive, install the new drive, boot with the Rescue CD and choose the Recovery feature.

    It is on external drive. I understand the procedure now. Thanks for you help.
