restoral problem

    Boot problem after restoral

    I have true image 7.
    I have been restoring with no problems in the past.
    My HD just crashed. I installed the new one and restored from my backup.

    I get this message after rebooting:
    "Windows could not start because of a computer disk
    hardware configuration problem. Could not read from
    the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk

    I know the new HD is good because I installed the OS manually first and tested it and it boots. I then deleted the partition and ran the Acronis restore. AFter that, the error message and no boot.
