    Hi,
Since I installed a 3112U SATA card in my system, I can no longer boot from the rescue CD created with TI 7.0 build 572.
When booting from that cdrom the message "hdg : lost interrupt" appears indedinitely!
Do you know how I can boot from that CD in order to restore an TI7 image?

    Thanks

    Hi Vince.
Can I suggest that as you could boot from this disk before the SATA card was installed, then there is nothing wrong with the disk.
I would recommend upgrading TI to the latest build which will no doubt support the new card, and then make a new boot disk which should then enable a boot.
I had a similar problem with a DELL PC, and upgrading the build cured the problem.
    Cheers
    Chas.

    Hi Chas,

Thanks for your post, i've upgraded my TI7 to build 638. I regenerated another boot cdrom. It works now. I can boot from it and restore images to my C: partition.
I wanted to let you know.

    Have a good day
    Vince
