I want to replace the Mint Logo with a country flag. I can see the logos here....
/usr/share/linuxmint/common/artwork/logos , but when I try to save a new logo it wont take.

Can anyone please explain in detail how I can do this,

There's logo.png at /usr/share/linuxmint/common, have you tried replacing that?

Its ok, I figured it out. After logging in as admin, change the logo, then run in terminal....
    sudo update-initramfs -u
