ESET Smart Security (version 5.0.95.0) will randomly give me a notice saying, “Detected ARP cache poisoning attack.” Sometimes they will keep popping up after I close the previous notice and sometimes it happens only once a day.

    The full notice says:
    Code:
    Detected ARP cache poisoning attack
    Remote IP address:
    1.1.1.2
1.1.1.2 is the internal IP address for my printer.

I have attempted both solutions on the DNS Cache Poisoning Attack page in the ESET Knowledgebase multiple times, but it did not fix the problem.

Does anybody know how to solve this?

Did you place your network in Trusted zone?

    Hey jonow

Maybe Is time to contact ESET Customer Care, to further troubleshoot your issue.
Under " Attachment " in the , fill out form from Eset, it could be an idea to attach a log of blocked connections and a SysInspector log for analysis. (so the boys from customer care have something to work with from the start :D )

    Regards, Janus
