    Gentlefolk,

My Win XP service pack 2+ is looking like it needs a rebuild/re-instal as I have lost all the audio mixers, the SVC program crashes after a reboot and there is the occassional blue screen of death.

    Currently have nod32 installed.

Where do I stand with Nod32 if I

    1 - Repair.
2 - Reinstall a clean copy of Win XP

    Any help appreciated, IRU

    Hello iru,

You can uninstall ESET NOD32 Antivirus (EAV) 2.7, perform your repair and reinstall of XP, then download and reinstall EAV 2.7. With your license you can also download and install either EAV 3.0 or 4.0. If you wish to remain with 2.7, make sure to download and save it now because the download will be removed from the website on February 1st, 2010. Will will provide updates and customer support for 2.7 up to February 1st, 2012.

    Thank you,
    Richard

If you plan on a repair installation, the version of NOD32 should remain intact, if you perform a full reinstallation you will be required to install another build since v2.x builds are no longer listed on the download index but are fully supported through February 1, 2012
