In the past I've purchased NOD32AV discs on sale from Newegg and all I needed to renew was to use the magic number that was assigned to that disc. I didn't need the disc to renew. Now, trying to renew without a disc and directly with Eset isn't working. It seems I have a choice of installing a trial version or registering at the eSet store and having a disc shipped. I have an Eset log in number and an assigned password pertaining to my about to expire NOD32AV v.3. Why is it so difficult to renew? What am I doing wrong?
Hello WWS, Are you entering your Username and Passowrd from your license at our renewall page here: http://www.eset.com/purchase/renewals.php If that is not working, please let me know. Thank you, Richard
Followed your link: entered user name and email address.. entered length of renewal... proceeded to checkout... entered email and password and was not recognized. eStore wants me to enter as a "new" customer. Which I haven't. How can a "new" customer renew anything?
Hello WWS, Please contact our sales department at one of the following numbers: Toll Free. +1 (866) 343-ESET [3738] Tel. +1 (619) 876-5400 Press 1 for sales. I was able to renew NOD32 by telephone. Thank you for helping me with this problem. I pose another question: I have eav_nt32_enu.msi archived. Is that, along with my log in and password, all I need in the event I should have to uninstall/reinstall NOD32?
Hello WWS, Good to hear and thank you for the update. We recommend holding on to your product username and password. You can also keep the .msi install file. There may be newer versions that come out in the future though. You can use your username and password to download the latest version or previous versions of your product here at any time: http://www.eset.com/download/index.php NOTE: If a new version of your product does come out, you can use your license to upgrade (download and install) to it for free. Make sure that you uninstall your previous version first in that scenario. Thank you, Richard
I was under impression that ALL the new updates, including virus db, program modules, and new versions be configured here:
