Does Eset send a renewal notice to users via e-mail when the license becomes due. My license is due 1/6/10 and as of today I have heard nothing from Eset.
Like the product but I think they should be sending a renewal notice.
    Thanks for any help

    Hello schonman,

You will not receive a renewall email. Your ESET icon should turn orange when your license is close to expiration. You will also receive a small pop-up notification in the right lower corner by your system tray notifying that you are close to expiration. You can renew from the following page: http://www.eset.com/purchase/renewals.php

Please let us know if you have any trouble renewing.

    Thank you,
    Richard

does that vary depending on licence type, business/personal and or reseller policy?

Why does the icon turn orange 14 days before expiry date and remain orange? Also the dialog "Maximum Protection may not be assured" in the user interfaceo_O

It could be worse, most other vendors do this at 30 days left.

Also, I purchased my ESS license at betterantivirus.com and they sent me a ridiculous amount of renewal emails, plus I actually did get one email from ESET.

I just checked. 1 reminder email from ESET and 9 from betterantivirus.com
