renewal process

I finally noticed I wasn't getting updates and discovered I needed to renew. I did so through the Eset site. I'm left with two questions:

Eset gave me a link to download the whole program and the version is slightly different from the one I'm running. version 2.50.25 is what I'm running. The download seems to be for 2.51.26 .

Should I install the newer version and if so, how? Do I just install over my existing version or do I uninstall and reinstall?

I did use the new username and password on the older version and was able to update the definitions but I don't know about updating the actual version.

My other question is that I recommended NOD32 to my daughter and I'm afraid that she too will need to renew and not be informed. Where in the program do you find the date at which your program needs to be renewed?

Hi Louise,

Your renewal date is in the original licence email you got when you purchased/registered NOD32.
Most resellers also email their customers before the expiry date to ensure it doesn't get forgotten.

No, the version numbers are mainly to do with language versions. Simply place your new Username and Password into the NOD32 Control Centre when you receive them.

That’s all that is required.

Currently you can’t, you will need to refer to you invoice for the annual renewal date.
