Renew from another country?

I was in Taiwan 2 years ago and bought and activated NOD32, now I'm back in the USA and my license expires in 1 week and it says it can't find me with my User Name and password.

I sent the online form for Home Customer Service, but got no reply.

Any idea on how I can renew instead of buying the software all over again?

Did you buy your license online or in a retail store ?

 

I bought the program at a store in Taiwan, but I registered it over the internet when I was in Taiwan. It has the email confirmation and login stuff as:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for using ESET NOD32!
Here is your User Name : XXXXXXXXXXX
Here is your password: XXXXXXXXXXX
Expiry Date(dd/mm/yyyy): XX/Nov/2011

Am I basically screwed and can't renew a Taiwan license in the USA?

I can't read the page and doing the Bablefish translation doesn't work out so well.

It's not a huge deal to buy the license in the USA for $9 more for 2 years, I was just curious to see if it is possible to do it?

Perhaps the best course of action would be contacting the Taiwan sales and ask them to transfer your license to ESET, LLC so that you can renew from them. Or contact the sales dep. at ESET, LLC who should be able to do it for you.

I filled out the Online Home Customer Service, but no one has replied to me in 2 days. I just emailed Taiwan's support email

I got some feedback from Singapore (via Taiwan email) but now my email address isn't working on the Singaporean webpage link to renew (no problem to log in and check my current license though). A lot of problems and hassel for the $9 renewal discount. Too bad there isn't just a global database of usernames and not names locked into specific countries, but that's the global economy I guess.

I'll probably just purchase the new product from the USA webpage and lose out on the $9 discount, oh well.
