NOD32 just detected password_viewer.exe and I wanted to know how I can permanently remove it. I deleted the file but I read somewhere that it doesn't help to do that.

Was this associated with a USB infection and does it also relate to autorun.inf :doubt:

Share with us a little more concerning this "password_viewer.exe" file Please.

I also thought it was associated with Autorun.inf but I don't think I have autorun.inf (doesn't it disable opening the drives or something)

All I know about password_viewer.exe is that it used to appear amongst the processes when I open task manager. But ever since I deleted it, it isn't there.

Maybe it's really gone. I can't say it used to bother me anyway. I hardly noticed it until I did a virus scan.
