Removing locked files

    ESET will never do things like unloading injected dlls on the fly and thus jeopardize the stability of the OS. I'm not aware of a serious AV solution that would do that without the need to restart the computer. There is already a mechanism for deleting resistant malware incorporated.

    If viruses infected system dll's what kind of stability of the OS we are talking about?

    But here we are talking about blocked viruses and processes...

    For example how to remove H:\autorun.inf - Win32/Peerfrag.FI worm with ESET Antivirus?

    ESEt Antivirus can't clean or delete this infected files... See problem

    MBAM has a tool called FileAssassin which can forcefully delete even locked files that your AV can't delete.

    This mechanism needs to be improved...
