Original thread of this name removed.

Here's the story. Thread starter asked where does ESET stand regarding hacker/cracker sites that list keys, usernames, cracks, whatever... and linked to an example of such a site showing a NOD32 section. (FYI - It is against this forums TOS to post links to cracks, hackers sites, warez and so on. That's why the post was removed.)

ESET is aware of hacker/cracker sites, especially those that list ESET products, licenses and so forth. They stand against such sites, of course. However, in the real world, there is only so much that can be done to fight cracking and warez. They take what steps they can to limit the usablility of such warez, eg. disabling usernames discovered on such sites, and so on.

Thanks for bringing that site to their attention. However, that's as much as this forum is going to talk publicly about such sites.
