    Nope, you are misguiding with that. It is for malware removal.

    Fred's link shows a number of downloads, one of which is recommended to use as a Registry Cleaner before upgrading from version 6 to 7. So it is a removal tool.

    In contrast, at the present time there is no specific removal tool for Avira 7. In this case, using a general registry cleaner should be sufficient.

    IME, Avira 7 Premium has a relatively clean uninstall.
