Remote Install from Remote Administrator to Windows 7

    Should I be able to remote install ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 Business Edition to a Windows 7 Professional machine using the ESET Remote Administrator Console?

    I am getting Result Code 1460 on connecting to the remote registry and Result Code 5 when setting ADMIN$ connection and trying to run the installer as a service.

    Try reconfiguring the ERAS service to run in a specific admin account. As far as I remember, Vista introduced some new system restrictions that prevent remote installation when running in the local system account.

    Thanks for that, it has worked.

    Though RA does think that it's a Vista machine.
