Hello, I've recently purchased two great products. Kaspersky Internet Security and CounterSpy V2.

What do you think of these products, should I stick with them or look otherwise?

    Am I well protected, thanks.

kis6.0 is a great piece of kit.
    counterspy has some issues.
but if both work on your machine keep them.

    Relemar,
If you bought them you must have felt that your test of them went well.
I myself use Avira Personal Premium, Prevx1, AVG Anti Spyware Free, Comodo firewall with Boclean.
I'm happy. All of the above tested well. They all work together.
So long as you did test these products before you bought them, and you have confidence that they will do what you expect of them, then enjoy.

If you're not all that comfortable with what you bought, then get a refund and test drive the others.
Also, check av comparatives for their test results.
    Keep it simple. Be happy.
    Doc

No "issues" or "brain hurting problems" for me involving CounterSpy v2.0. I am currently trialling this software and so far so good. Kaspersky is excellent although I know it by reputation only as I am completely satisfied at this time using NOD32 2.70.32 by Eset. Also trial before you buy and resist the urge to load up with too many security programs.

Agreed. CounterSpy is a good program with a bright future if things go well at Sunbelt. But I do have my doubts about Sunbelt's firewall, but thats not being discussed here. :)

CounterSpy + KIS is good defense, since you also have KAV's Proactive Defense module. Unless you are REALLY paranoid, this should do really well.

Thank you, I can always refund my CounterSpy, that's no problem. I was gonna buy Webroot but that took my PC about an hour to boot up, then crashed.

CounterSpy seems great ;) Also does KAV, tryed the Eset Smart Security and no joy same with ZA.

ESS is currently in beta and should not be used on a machine that is important to you at this time. And Like Firecat said KISS + Counterspy is more than enough. No need to get a refund in my opinion. The only other thing I would do is get a router but that's optional.
