There is not date yet AFAIK. And BETA 2 isn't even released yet.
But surely when it's ready for release.

Seriously guy(s), there is not even BETA 2 yet and release version comes when beta testing is over and done. Can't you just enjoy the beta now?

As far as I know none of the beta testers have run into this issue yet. Does disabling protection modules, one at a time, make a difference? First off it's necessary to narrow it down to the particular module / driver, then we can try to think about ways how to troubleshoot it further.

Nevermind, now I guess it wasn't v5 causing the shutdown delays as I am getting a huge delay while shutting down even with v4......

I am not sure what is causing this delay :(

Can't you check windows event log and look there what program is causing your computer slow shut down?

EDIT: This is how you can check it:

Start menu -> control panel -> system and security -> administrative tools -> event viewer -> at the left: applications and services log -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Diagnostics-Performance -> Operational -> Find: shut down performance monitoring warnings

Hope that help you to troubleshoot your problem

Will we see NOD32 version 5 in the next AV-COMPARATIVES on-demand tests?

HIPS in ESET 5 beta has to mature a lot.

Parental Control also has to mature.

I do not see any other major problems with this release.

May be we will have one or two other betas with more matured and functional HIPS.
