I have been informed that the next update of nod32 will incorporate the ability to share the mirror file on two different servers. This would allow clients to retrieve updates in the event of a server outage?

Is their any news on this issue?

    Thanks

    Duncan

Actually I'd like an update on it as well. Marcos hinted that it would be out a week or two ago, yet all seems to be quiet on the Western front.

I'm also keen to see a Version 2 released soon.

I've discovered an incompability with NOD32 and computers using wireless network cards.

Am hoping that a new version fixes the problem.

What problem are you getting? I use NOD32 with a wireless network card and haven't noticed any problems, however I'm about to set a new pc up for a friend that will use both Nod and a wireless card ... is there anything I should beware of?

    pepito,

I'm also using NOD32 and a Belkin wireless card with no problems. Perhaps you should post your details in a new thread to see if your difficulty can be sorted out.

You guys are right, I should have been more specific.

I will start a new thread and post a screenshot of the error message later, but briefly , it happens on a Toshiba laptop running XP, on bootup with a wireless network card (with two different brands does the same thing) NOD32 often hangs at the splash screen for a few minutes before complaining about a communication error with a NOD32 kernel.

After you press OK the laptop continues loading XP but without the NOD32 icon in the taskbar and often wont work on the net because the wireless router wasnt able to assign a DNS.

I'll post a better message about this in a separate thread.

the kernel fix is an easy 1,

    goto start > run > type: Services.msc

go down 2 the nod32krn service, make sure its set 2 automatic

the problem is its not starting on startup & nod32kui (the GUI) needs the kernel 2 function correctly

    hope this helps :D

Now there are no obstacles in releasing the beta and you can take it for granted that the beta is gonna be released in 16-20 hours. The countdown can start...
