Relative to booting into recovery environments, what is the advantage of WinPE CD

    I like to include my favorite Windows programs (recovery, backup, defrag, partition tools, etc.) as plugins on my WinPE CD/USB. I assume linux users have their own set of linux programs that they use instead. If I were 'proficient' in linux I'd make both types of recovery media, and use whatever had the better tools for the job, but I'm not, so I just use WinPE.

    In my case that's easy. I can't boot into Linux environments. I suspect it might relate to the nvidia raid drivers, but I just gave up.

    WinPe works fine for me as does Bartpe.
